김경신展 영원한계절

도시가 커지면서 자연은 도시로부터 멀어지게 되었다.
자연이 떠난 자리에 자연을 옮겨 놓으려는 행위는 자신의 공간에 화분을 키우고
정원을 가꾸고,서울숲과 같은 공원프로젝트가 곳곳에서 이루어지며
자연에 대한 원초적 본능을 나타내었다.
그런데 그러한 정원과 공원을 살펴보면서 사철나무에 속하는 나무들이 큰 비중을 차지하고 있다는 것을 알 수 있었다.
이는 사시사철 푸르름을 볼 수 있고, 어떻게 관리하느냐에 따라
각기 다른 조형성으로 사람의 눈을 즐겁게 할 수 있기 때문이다.
정원의 나무들이 기후와 환경만 맞으면
스스로 생명을 지속시켜 나가며 자라나는 것처럼 보이지만,
실은 누가 정원을 관리하는가에 따라 아름다운 푸르른 계절이 오래도록
지속 할 수 있다는 것을 말하고 싶었다.

As the city become big, there is huge distance between nature and the city.
People try to have an artificial nature such as having pots or gardens in one's place and making parks like ‘Seoul Forest’ in the city. This represents human being’s natural instinct.
Once you look into gardens and parks, you would notice that majority of the trees are spindle trees since you can see the greenery every seasons and various type of shape deepens on how you manage it. It looks like that tree in gardens need only sunshine and decent environment to grow up maintaining the life themselves well but I wanted to say that actually who is caring the garden is crucial to keep the beautiful green season longer and longer and this big earth as well.
